Hehe, seems nobody is missing me over here. We now have Monique as a new (female) blogger. Meanwhile another one, i let him write his own welcome message and post, has assigned. So, the future of Coolio's looks not that bad, people don't even miss me. I think we have a very good team now.

To Naomi, i know i can fully understand your feelings sometimes. The life of a Blogger can be hard ... but, please don't quit. You succeeded to actually get people so far they use the comments, something i tried for years and never succeeded. I know the commenting system is kinda buggy but all comments come through. It's not needed to click 2 or 3 times, just be patient they will arrive. We looked into the system many many times but can't find the error(s). The same system runs almost identically (with even more traffic) on the babelog without all those errors. It's a mystery.

First of all ... thank you to all the positive criticism. But most of all we should thank the energy and force of my-cobloggers. I have to admit, in all honesty, that Coolio's wouldn't have been Coolio's anymore without those fantastic people like (in random order) Naomi, Flip, Lawrence, Matth, Nimbus, Erik, ...

But time had changed, for me personally i can't combine running my both weblogs on a daily basis anymore. It became too much time consuming so i had to choose and feel what the people (you) and my-cobloggers felt with me leaving the ship (partly). I think you all where very clear. Coolio's has to stay and we will, but i hope you can live with the fact that i'll post less than in the past. I try to be here 2 or 3 times/week ... but with all the positive energy of the people around me, we'll manage to keep Coolio's running like before.

A big thank you to all of you including my cobloggers, you're a bunch of real friends !

Last question ... experienced people who can compensate my halftime absence over here, feel free to contact me if you're interested to join our team (only motivated people please).

Short post, but i'm in a hurry. Maybe more in the weekend.

Before i start my first post after a long time (holidays, ...) i have an important announcement to make. During the last weeks i've been thinking on closing this weblog and to go for the 100% for my babelog due to the time consuming part of maintaining 2 weblogs.

Coolio's has always been my top priority however i have to decide whether i go on with it or not. Spending time on both logs daily has become impossible to me.

My co-bloggers, which i'm very thankfull, asked me to keep it alive ... so i did.

Main conclusion is that i will not be here anymore every day. In the future I will try to post 2 times a week (sometimes more, sometimes less). The future of Coolio's will depend on the posting rate while i'm not here. I don't want to force my co-bloggers to keep Coolio's alive, but because all posters want to go on with posting at Coolio's i kept it alive and don't close it this drastically.

I will evaluate if we keep on going on with Coolio's during the upcoming weeks, months. Much will depend on the reactions, returning visitors, comments, ... but i have to be honest : Coolio's seems to be on it's way back. I think we reached the top ... many blogs, simular as Coolio's, are appearing on every edge and corner of the internet and i personally think we can't compete with the top blogs.

But maybe i'm way to negative at the moment ;)

We'll see what the future brings ...

Dear Coolio-friends,

Though i've tried to find some spare time the last 2 days i couldn't make it to post ... i'm in full preparation to my yearly summer holidays (3 weeks). With this last short note i would like to say goodbye to all of you

Probably, when i've time and can find a computer in the second part of my holidays, i'll try to update from the Swiss Alps (first part of my holidays = Venice in Italy) in about 2 weeks, but i can't promise you this for sure. I made an agreement with my wife and kids to be fully internet-less for 3 weeks.

See ya then or otherwise i'll be back (hopefully in full force) at the 16th of August. Meanwhile my co-bloggers will try to keep you entertained (many thx to Flip, Erik, Lawrence, Naomi and Matth for being so helpfull for the last couple of months - i'm really happy to have such a loyal team around me over here).
