DIY Daft Punk Helmet

This video documents about 4 months of work in creating a replica of Thomas Bangalter’s helmet from Daft Punk. The piece has over 350 LEDs, can run over 4 hours on a single charge, and the matrix is capable of being updated on-the-fly with a custom programmed iOS app.

Proud to be a Belgian when i listening to his songs. Wouter “Wally” De Backer (Bruges, 21 May 1980), known by his stage name Gotye (pronounced /ˈɡɔərtijeɪ/ gore-ti-yeah), is a Belgian-Australian multi-instrumental musician and singer-songwriter. He has released three studio albums independently and one remix album featuring remixes of tracks from his first two albums. De Backer is also one-third of Melbourne indie-pop band The Basics, who have independently released three studio albums and numerous other titles since 2002. He has won an ARIA Award.
