La Niña explained with fantastic snow&ski images

La Niña (the ‘little girl’ in spanish) is an oceanic phenomenon that delivered western North America the coldest and snowiest winter anyone can remember. It also makes this episode of Salomon Freeski TV the deepest one yet. According to all climate predictions, she’s back for the 2011/12 season. Unfortunately this means less snow in my region, Europe.

As we’re already in a winter-mood here’s something else :

Xavier de Le Rue, not just a regular boarder … pushing the limits during all his rides.
